Home Information Packs (HIP)

Who needs a pack?
Properties marketed for sale from 14 December 2007 will need a Home Information Pack and whoever is marketing the property is responsible for ensuring a valid Pack is available.

What is in the Pack?
The documents that must be in the HIP are:

• An Index listing the contents of the HIP
• An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)
• A Sale Statement summarising the terms of sale
• Evidence of title
• Standard Searches
• The Lease (where appropriate)

If you instruct us to sell your home, we will arrange for a HIP on your property and as long as the HIP has been commissioned, we can start marketing your property immediately.
